Hai all, Before i start, please pardon for my poor English and lack understanding of high tech/computer tech. I really need help. 2 days ago i uninstalled some programs (Eset, Hero DVD player - my cd rom seems to be broken since it cant read any CD i inserted, Blue Screen View and AVS player, tried to uninstalled Nero9, but it keep cant be uninstalled) in my laptop (Compaq Presario CQ40, 32 bit, using Windows 7 Ultimate), and just yesterday when i turn on my laptop, i just realise that the sound came from my built in speakers (Altec Lansing) seem broken/not as clear as before. I googled how to fix this and one of the solutions i found was to uninstalled and re-installed Sound Driver. While i followed the steps to find the Sound Driver, i notice that i have 3 missing Base System Devices. Hi Maxie, Thank you for helping me. I'm sorry i'm not quite sure i understand what you mean by 'Manufactures Website'.
Is it means i have to go to HP website? And 'some letters missing from your Model Number', what kind of letter is it? I'm really sorry, coz all i know of my laptop type is Compaq Presario CQ40 (it was shown by a ticker in my laptop).
PCIVEN_197B&DEV_2382&SUBSYS_2382197B&REV_80 Drivers. In our Shared libs contains compatible with PCIVEN_197B&DEV_2382&SUBSYS_2382197B&REV_80 device drivers for download.
But when i was trying to fix my other problem, i was instructed by someone to post a Speecy result of my system, so i dont will this could help indetify my problem - Once again, really pardon me for my lack of understanding of how computer technology works. I just use laptop to watch movies files and browse websites i use to visit daily. Thank you Wan nee. Hi Maxie, Thank you for helping me. Dear Maxie, I've check the website and downloaded HP Support system and follow the steps from there (my laptop is Compaq Presario CQ40-538TU). And tried to found suitable driver.
But for my laptop, the operating system version that availabe is only for Windows Vista and i search each one the drivers listed but i cant find Jmicron Host Controller, the only driver with Host Controller i found was JMB38X Card Reader Host Controller Driver (in the Driver-Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices). Please advise me for the next step. And since at the moment my laptop is having so many issues, i tried to not download any programs, etc.
Would it be fine if i uninstalled HP SUpport Assistant from my laptop? Dear Maxie, Oh. I dont know when it was changed, coz as far as i remember, quite a long time ago, i've used a card reader to access memory card i took out from my old cellphone to moved files in it to my laptop several times before. But well, i'm facing so many issues/problems in my laptop that it seems everyday i found something changes in my laptop (failed to check disk/file system C, cant do a system restore, NoScript suddenly bloked lots of websites even the sites i visit everday, and now my built-in speakers sound is also changing). I thought it could have connection with the missing Base System. But now, i'm afraid the missing Base System could be another change happened bcoz something wrong with my system. But, anyway, i checked and there isnt any Missing Base System error anymore.
Thank you for the help and fast response. Similar help and support threads Thread Forum Hi guys, I have had to reformat one of the machines here at work. After getting everything installed I found under the device manager that there is an exclamation mark next to a 'Base System Device driver'. I've been searching the web but I'm getting conflicting answers as to what to do. Drivers I am missing three drivers in my device manager. They are listed under other drivers and when I look at the properties there is no information given as to what its for. The first two say base system device and the third one says coprocessor.
None of them can be updated from the manager because it. Drivers hie i have just installed window 7 and this devices are missing, any help will be very much appreciated. Base system device device id PCI VEN1217&DEV7110&SUBSYS117C10&PEV00 PCI VEN1217&DEV7110&SUBSYS117C10CF PCI VEN1217&DEV7110&CC088000 PCI VEN1217&DEV7110&CC0880 UNKNOWN. Drivers I have a Toshiba laptop that was experiencing numerous problems so I decided to format and reinstall everything.
Except this time instead of using the restore CDs I put Windows7 in without all the bundled software that came with the original 'out of the box' state. It runs so much faster.
Drivers I have windows 7 ultimate I get base system device missing. How can I fix this Please I need help. Thank you Drivers Our Sites Site Links About Us Find Us.
